If you have two coffee shops right next to each other, and each sell the exact same coffee at the exact same price, what makes you walk into one and not the other?
It’s a fascinating question, and one that Joe Schram of Sparktivity posed during his awesome presentation. His answer was not only thought provoking, but it introduced us to the concept of service design.
Service design is what makes the service we deliver useful, usable, efficient, effective, and desirable. Cool, huh? We also loved how Joe used JAMF Software and the Casper Suite as a glowing example of excellence in service design.
We were encouraged to lead with a value proposition Joe referred to as the new frontier. If the new frontier sounds familiar, it’s not surprising. It’s a term John Kennedy coined during the 1960 Democratic convention as he challenged America to look forward.
Our charge was to embrace the new frontier by sharing values as we make people, products, and service our priorities.
We unanimously agreed that we’re committed to doing that every day.
