Every year the Super Bowl Host Committee hustles hard to provide an amazing experience for spectators attending the event—and the last two years have been more tech-filled than ever. The Hosting Committee has begun using iPads to enhance the Super Bowl-going experience for the many fans that flock into town for the big game.
It's not everyday you get invited to the Super Bowl, so when we were asked to perform a deployment service for the Hosting Committee you better believe we hopped on a plane and captured as much of it on camera as we could along the way. The Hosting Committee had a couple different needs for the iPads, and we were up for whatever challenges they threw our way.
Their first job to tackle was using the Casper Suite to deploy 80 iPads out for the Media Party—a special night for members of the media to take a timeout from covering the event and experience the New Orleans culture while they were in town. iPads were used to feature a variety of locally developed apps and other digital content to highlight the city of New Orleans in unique ways. The second task was to re-provision the iPads for Hosting Committee volunteers to use while assisting attendees at the Super Bowl Boulevard event.
We had a ton of fun with the entire Super Bowl experience (if you couldn't tell by our video recap). Enjoy!
