Helping bridge the IT and diversity gap
The technology field welcomes people from all walks of life, so why do so many of our technology conferences still see a disproportionately low representation of women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals and other underrepresented groups?
At Jamf, we’re working hard to make an impact on diversity in our community, and in our company. We want the technology community, and companies who participate in it, to encourage and recognize people of all races, ethnicities, genders, ages, abilities, religions, sexual orientation and those with a military service background. We’re not there yet, so we would like to help make a difference, starting with our own conference, the Jamf Nation User Conference (JNUC), taking place September 29 - October 1, in San Diego, CA. Jamf is offering 15 Diversity Sponsorships to better ensure a diverse community is represented at the conference and included in the conversation.
What is included in the Jamf Diversity Sponsorship?
- A ticket to JNUC
- A meet-and-greet with members of the Jamf senior leadership team
- A $500 stipend toward travel and accommodation costs
- A social event with other sponsorship recipients
What are the requirements for an individual to apply?
If you are from an underrepresented group of people in the technology sector, and are able to attend JNUC September 29 - October 1, in San Diego, CA, please complete the below submission form by 5:00 p.m. Central on Monday, June 1. Past recipients are not eligible to apply.
How will the recipients be selected and notified?
Applications will be reviewed by members of Jamf's Diversity and Inclusion committee. Everyone who applies will be notified of whether or not they were accepted by July 17.
