Script to Change Network Location?

I'm trying to brainstorm a workflow to navigate around some crazy security protocols we have at my company and I'm exploring the idea of creating a script to change the Network Locations based on the SSID available.

This seems strange, but basically I need to lock a wifi network to an explicit proxy to avoid having to sign in all the time while at work to use the internet, but I don't want to stall internet connections while outside of work. Does it seem like a viable option to have a script to state that if "ABC" SSID is present then switch Network Location to "work", which will then encompass the explicit proxy logins?

This isn't my ideal way of dealing with the proxies, but most of our internal systems are far from Mac friendly at the moment.
