Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist During boot up of fresh clean OS Image

Hey guys!!

Hope you can help here

I created a fresh 10.9 Mavericks OS build. It is plain never booted system Composer made image. When I push it out using TMI it completes the image process in 5 mins. When I boot the machine it stays at the Apple Logo with the spinning gear.

After booting it to verbose mode i see the below message.

BootCacheControl: Unable to open /var/db/BootCache.playlist : 2 No such file or directory

Any Ideas? I have also tried creating a separate image with AutoDMG with same outcome.

If i restore the OS image using Disk Utility it works fine so I am thinking the image dmg itself is fine.

Thanks for all your guys help... appreciated!!

You can't push out a base OS DMG to an existing client and have it upgrade the OS. That base OS DMG is good for imaging, as you discovered, but...

Instead, you can do this with the Install OS X Yosemite app.
