Does anyone know of an EA that will read in the pmset –g settings?

When McAfee manages File Vault 2, it makes some changes to the power management settings for security reasons. When we trigger FV2 with JSS, does it do anything similar?

I'm not aware of FileVault 2 changing any power settings when its enabled. I can't see why that would be necessary. Booting up a Mac with FV2 requires the Mac to be unlocked with an authorized account password or Recovery key before it can continue to boot, so its encryption of data at rest. Doesn't do anything to encrypt your drive once the Mac is on and logged into.

As for an EA for pmset, what is it you're looking to grab from it? Everything, or just something specific?

Here is an example of what I am talking about

McAfee has continued this thru the current version even with a number of people saying Apple fixed that problem in 10.8

I am an info junkie so would probably just be happy with all 16 of the attributes coming back and I would probably find some use for them.
