Has Jamf invented time travel? Last Check-in time 15+ hours in the future

About 15 minutes ago (7:40 AM local time), I looked up a Mac in JSS, and saw this:
Last Check-in: Today at 10:56 PM

That corresponds roughly to Australia's Central Standard Time zone. But we're in Detroit.

I suppose it's possible that the user manually set his clock ahead, but I doubt it.

Is this a bug in JSS?

Our Tomcat servers are on UTC and we're in MT, so our times appear off, too.

But we are usually in sync. For example, now when I check that same Mac, I see this:
Last Check-in: 2 minutes ago

The Policy log show several policies that supposedly ran in the future. See the attached image.

I have seen this happen to us as well. I am thinking that the JSS is considering the last 24 hours as Today. I think this is the case, because if you go back and look at it in a day or so, it looks fine.
