IBM Desktop Password Reset Assistant for macOS

With IBM being fairly huge in the Apple space now, I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is any potential to get IBM DPRA working on macOS, and if not, if anyone is aware of a similar product for macOS. Any thoughts?

Thanks

What is IBM DPRA?

from the title, Desktop Password Reset Assistant. If a user forgets what their password is they'll have a link under the password field to reset it using some challenge/response questions:

Even if the same isn't possible on Mac, wondering if there is an alternate way.

Looks like its a windows only tool :( https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSIGMP_1.0.0/com.ibm.itim_pim.doc/dpr/install_config/dpr_html_mstr.htm

It also seems like it would be really specific to their environment since it is somehow getting the questions from some service that ties into AD and the tool also password syncs with other services.

Yeah, but it makes me wonder what IBMers do if they have a Mac and need to reset their password. i.e. do they just have to call the support desk like our users would, or is there a better workflow?

What are other companies doing if a user gets locked out? Is everyone else instructing them to call a Helpdesk?

Their Macs are not bound to AD. All local accounts. To change/update their passwords, they go through their intranet. And if it's a local password that needs to be updated, I'm guessing that's enforced via a config profile to meet specific complexity requirements.
