Network Configuration Causing WiFi Not to Work

Does anyone have a solution to allowing corporate network settings to work on a home WiFi network?

About all the configuring we do on our laptops is set DNS servers and search domains as well as use a machine certificate to authenticate to the corporate WiFi network. When I took a tester home it allowed a connection to my WiFi network but couldn't get to any website. I found out that it wasn't picking up my ISP's DNS and search domain settings automatically. This leaves me to think everyone we configure laptops for will have this same issue if they take it home.

Anyone have a solution to allow both work and home DNS/Search Domain settings to populate on one network location without having to create two separate network locations; one for work and home?

We use network locations. takes a little training, but not too much as they can't do anything if they have the wrong location selected.
