Skype quick fires two Updates

In the European Evening on August 28th - they released 8.29.0.41

but in the Morning I got greeted with a further Update to 8.29.0.50 https://endpoint920510.azureedge.net/s4l/s4l/download/mac/Skype-8.29.0.50.dmg

So what's the best practice / best workflow to be proactive in updating Skype? It seems now that as soon as Microsoft releases an update for it, the end-users are prompted to update and unfortunately we do not give them admin privileges. So it can be a continuous annoying prompt to update the app.
