Has anyone had experience configuring Office 365 on iOS using a Configuration Profile and variables?
I have a small group of shared iPads(40), that all need Office (word & Excel) configured so users can edit and markup documents. There are also two other apps (Dropbox and Owncloud) that have user specific configuration info.
Each iPad has a unique user name and email address associated with it, so I don't have any licensing problems.
My biggest challenge is that right now I have to manually touch every iPad multiple times when I update the OS and the apps. Granted, it's not a huge number of iPads, but I'm a generally lazy person and would like to see if I can leverage Jamf to do this for me. I just haven't had any luck with the google.
I did find some stuff on configuring office for macOS (article that came from a session at last years JNUC), but it doesn't translate over to iOS because some of the Config Profile settings that exist for macOS don't seem to exist for iOS.
Any thoughts?
