Un-istalling CS 6

Hello All

Is anyone uninstalling cs6 with Casper? When I created the install pkg with AAMEE it also created an uninstaller as well but it does not seem to work. In the past Jamf supplied an unistall script for cs3,4, and 5. Is there one for CS6?

Adobe provides a script

Neither does a complete job removing everything. Even using both together fails. There's a third option, look for an uninstaller in the Photoshop folder.

Is there a reason for removing CS6? If it's to reclaim a seat, why not use APTEE to re-provision the license?

I guess if it were me I'd want to also remove all the software if I'm not going to allow a user to use it. Less confusion, and frees up hard drive space that they shouldn't be storing files on locally anyway.

But yeah, your tool makes an uninstaller, and doesn't really do a complete job of it? So what do you really mean by "Uninstall" then Adobe?

@ Don I'm still testing deploment of cs6 and came across a machine that failed trying to install. So I resent the CS6 pkg and it fails right off the bat, tried manually installing the package and it failed again. I ended off re imaging my test machine. So I would like to have a way to uninstall the suite if this happens at roll out.

@ oopsydaisy I tried using this tool but it did not recognize CS6 being installed. My guess is from the failed installation

@ Don It said an error has occurred contact manufacture. I know why it failed I have a test policy set for that machine when i re imaged the machine I forgot to turn it off and pushed the cs6 install from remote. So the policy and remote conflicted. The CS6 apps opened and all but the un installers didn't work.
