Configure Attached Displays

I've searched for this in general and in Jamf, but I haven't been able to find it. We've got a few iMacs that have external 4K displays attached. When we re-image them, the displays are not configured properly (resolution, location, and which is the principal display). Can we have the capability to configure displays added?

I did some research and I think these links may be good places to start:

Thank you for asking this question. I was wondering as well. All of our iMacs and laptops have additional displays.

Universities have a certain amount of requirement for this as well. We have a number of rooms with gear that doesn't quite auto detect as we would like and it's quite painful to try and automate this.

Have you looked into composer and doing a snapshot then changing all the settings to the correct setup and then seeing which files are created/ altered?

might find some handy files / lines of text that might help you push out
