Verification of AD connection

It sure would be nice to have a built in check within Jamf Pro to do a couple of things:

  1. Verify an active directory connection
  2. If the connection is good, then verify an attribute within AD can be accessed.

Too many times, a Mac will report or show an active directory connection yet no one can login on this computer. With a built in solution, we could have the connection verified nightly or whatever amount of checking we choose.

Once the connection is deemed unusable, we could have the the "checker" force an unbind and then rebind.

Many solutions are out there as work arounds and those are nice, but having a built in solution that is clean and doable with a couple of check boxes would be better.
