Bachelor's degree and three years of related professional experience. An equivalent combination and experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree (i.e., AA+4 years related professional experience). A minimum of an Associate's degree is required.
Apple ACSP (Apple Certified Support Professional) certification required for most current Mac OS version (or equivalent experience).
Three years of experience with Apple products.
Experience with various Apple Mac OS clients and servers.
Experience with iOS setup and deployment including Apple Configurator.
Experience with directory integration, specifically Microsoft Active Directory.
Experience with Jamf Pro.
Experience with Remote Support technologies.
Experience with Windows OS/desktop support desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and document Mac inventory independently. Recommend policies and write procedures.
Integrate and troubleshoot Mac products into Microsoft Windows/Active Directory environments.
Incorporate Apple systems into the WNC wireless network.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Mac and Windows desktop systems.
Consult and instruct users on hardware and software issues.
Install, maintain, and upgrade equipment and its associated infrastructure.
Deploy and configure software for Macs and Windows equipment.
Create and manage Mac images.
Provide excellent customer service: respond to telephone calls, email, work orders, and dispatched requests for technical support in a timely manner.
Work extended/flexible hours, and travel to remote campuses when necessary.
Serve on college and NSHE committees.
Other duties as assigned.
