Summary

Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, the IT Support Specialist will be responsible for providing day-to-day IT support for the foundation, including desktop computers, laptops and other mobile devices, wired and wireless networks, software and cloud services.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fulfill technology support requests from Foundation staff
- Respond to help desk tickets
- Configure and deploy Macs
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware (primarily Apple)
- Manage cloud accounts and software licenses
- Test and deploy software
- Handle basic networking requests
- Engage in relevant training and educational activities

Related Skills & Other Requirements:
- Familiar with the command line interface
- Ability to troubleshoot iOS devices
- Detail-oriented and responsive to requests
- Patient, friendly and willing to find reasonable solutions
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
- Apple certified (ACMT) or willingness to get certified

Experience
- 1-3 years of experience with Mac troubleshooting and support
- 1 year of experience with Windows troubleshooting and support
- Experience with macOS software deployment tools like jamf Pro.
- Experience administering and supporting GSuite, Dropbox and Office 365
