The Information Technology team at Healthline manages all corporate infrastructure and systems for Healthline on a day to day basis. The IT team supports a global team of over 300 employees based out of San Francisco, New York, Brighton UK, and Iceland and provides excellent support to all of our internal customers in order to support the organization as a whole.

Job Description

Healthline is looking for a Junior Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology team. The Junior Systems Administrator is a hybrid role doing both end user desktop support and systems administration. They will report to the Senior Manager of Information Technology, and will work to support all internal customers seeking IT assistance at Healthline as well as oversee the day to day management of corporate IT systems.

The Junior Systems Administrator will be an innovative and creative problem solver who strives to provide excellent customer service and is hungry to learn about new technologies that could help support the business.

The overall goal of the Junior Systems Administrator is to ensure that IT operations in the San Francisco office as well as corporate tools run like a well oiled machine and to help drive company success by supporting all teams within Healthline.


  • Provide on-site white glove service to all San Francisco-based employees.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight and management for all corporate IT systems.
  • Review tickets in the IT service desk queue and address based on priority.
  • Provide remote support for all Healthline employees in conjunction with the rest of the IT team.
  • Setup IT equipment for new hires.
  • Manage and maintain IT equipment inventory.
  • Manage and maintain all San Francisco Zoom Rooms.
  • Participate in after-hours and weekend support rotation.
  • Assist with the implementation of new and maintenance of existing tools and systems.


  • Bachelor’s degree from 4 year institution preferred, but not required
  • 3 - 5 years of experience supporting PCs
  • 3 - 5 years of experience supporting Macs
  • 2 - 4 years of experience with Windows Server, specifically Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS
  • 3+ years experience supporting G Suite
  • At least one year of experience providing end user support for and integrating applications with a single sign-on solution such as Okta
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, or FreshService
  • Experience working on a service desk and adhering to SLAs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a direct customer service role
  • Experience supporting video conferencing systems such as Zoom Rooms, Extron, Crestron
  • Intermediate networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, firewall administration, VPN
  • Experience managing Cisco Meraki wireless
  • Good sense of organization
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs
  • Some travel required - No more than 5% - 10% per year
  • Ability to climb ladders

Bonus points - Experience with any of the following: Slack, Zoom, BetterCloud, RingCentral, PC MDM such as AirWatch, MaaS360, or Intune; Jamf, Office365, Fortinet, Cisco, APIs for cloud applications
