Job Description

The team is seeking a senior level MAC Engineer who will be primarily responsible for architecture, engineering and lifecycle management of the Firm’s Apple Mac Desktop Program. The ideal candidate will be an evangelist with a strong background in Mac desktop engineering and device management products such as JAMF and MobileIron. The candidate will also develop the environment to ultimately make Mac an offering to the workforce. The position requires in-depth knowledge of Mac in an enterprise environment.


What you’ll do:
Provide architecture, engineering and lifecycle management for the Firm’s Enterprise Mac OS desktops via JAMF
•Partner with Security to improve the Firm’s security posture on Mac desktops
•Partner with Network/AD to remediate outstanding connectivity issues and improve wireless performance
•Partner with the Identity team to enable SSO via Ping on Mac desktops
•Provide Level III support for the configuration, installation, and maintenance of Mac OS X and iOS systems and applications
•Quickly certify and deploy new MacOS and MS Office versions to the workforce
•Design and architect the current environment to bring “Mac as a choice” to the workforce
•Troubleshoot Mac desktop performance issues using tools such as Systrack.
•Troubleshoot mass packaging and application deployments as escalations arise
•Build scripts/apps using Swift
•Contribute to development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying Enterprise Mac technologies
•Investigate and troubleshoot escalations (ex. Outlook performance on Mac desktops)
•Assist in documenting processes for end user FAQ’s and the service desk
•Provide architecture input on roadmaps
•Demonstrate the “ACE” factor: Attitude, Compassion and Enthusiasm to deliver quality solutions with exceptional customer service


What you have:
•3-5 years of experience working with Macs in a large scale enterprise (1000+)
•Apple certification – Apple Certified Support Professional (desired)
•JAMF certification – Certified Casper Administrator (CCA) (desired)
•Experience programming with Swift
•Experience working in a financial services industry
•Effective interpersonal, oral, written and presentation skills
•B.S Degree or equivalent working experience
