At Regions, the Desktop Services Consultant supports the branch and corporate workstation infrastructure by utilizing extensive technical knowledge to partner with company objectives and translate functional requirements into design and system architecture solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

•Performs testing on branch and corporate applications and operating system patches
•Performs testing on proposed new hardware for the branch and corporate workstation environments
•Assists in designing technical solutions that translate functional requirements into design and system architecture solutions
•Assists in developing, maintaining, and supporting the branch and corporate workstation operating system images
•Assists in maintaining and supporting the branch and corporate workstation remote control solution
•Assists in packaging branch and corporate applications for distribution

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.


•High school diploma or GED with five (5) years of Information Technology experience or Bachelor’s degree in a related field with two (2) years of Information Technology experience
•Experience and/or familiarity with Microsoft Operating systems, Active Directory, and Imaging or VDI solutions
•Experience and/or familiarity with scripting


•Proficiency with PowerShell, VBScript, batch, or other scripting languages
•Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
•Experience with using SCCM for operating system deployments (OSD)
•Experience with software packaging and installers, such as Windows Installer and the troubleshooting of Windows Installer packages
•Experience with MacOS
•A+ Certification, MCSE, or similar
• JAMF Experience
• Bash - Primary Scripting
• AppleScript
• Python (secondary)

•Demonstrated ability to collaborate on cross-team and cross product technical issues
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Motivated self-starter and able to work under minimal supervision
