Job Description

What you'll be doing:

  • Looking after our growing mac fleet, further improving the security and automation of mac end clients to help the business rapidly scale
  • Be an escalation point for first level help desk team
  • Work in a team of 11 to resolve incidents and requests from internal customers (450+ internal staff) in a timely manner
  • Build and optimise Windows/Linux servers for the corporate IT environment
  • Find ways to do things better and automate day to day tasks
  • Respond to system alerts, prioritising and resolving incidents to restore service
  • Take the technical and project lead on process and infrastructure improvements
  • Support Windows/Mac/Linux internal end users as required.

Qualifications

What we're looking for

  • You have proven experience in running projects from start to finish on your own.
  • You prefer to automate tasks instead of manually managing systems
  • You possess proven technical skills with Mac OsX (Advanced skills, managing large enterprise mac clients, experience with Casper JAMF)
  • Proven technical skills with Linux (Advanced skills, proficient in configuring/troubleshooting apache/tomcat web servers)
  • You have a keen sense of quality and security and are driven to continuously improve the way we work
  • You'll have 3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
