Virus Definitions Date

This will determine the date stamp for the currently installed Virus Definitions. Borrowed some code from earlier version check scripts and updated for the later versions of SEP.

Scripts can be executed on managed computers using a Policy or Jamf Remote. Most scripts also work with other management tools.

Clear & Randomize SEP Updates

The script is currently set to: 1. Clear any and all scheduled jobs 2. Generate a new randomized time between 6AM & 9PM (this is adjustable) 3. Use the new randomized time to set a new schedule for updating all SEP products daily and in the background. 4. Display the new schedule for verification of a good set. Very helpful for making sure all the Macs aren't bringing an internet connection or local server to it's knees at one certain time a day. (2.49 KB)
