@mpeski @mattware Thanks for the info I have packaged this version of the software (InDesign CC 2014.0) and installed it. So far it is working properly, we'll see if it changes in the future.

Note that the reason that I posted this in the forum is because it worked perfectly for a little while (after installing on a freshly imaged computer) but then all of a sudden it stopped working. Maybe somebody may know why this change occurred.

I tried connecting using CIFS and turning off icon preview but there was no difference. We are using virtual (VMWare) Windows servers as the file servers using DFS.

@mattware It will most likely not work if you have both versions alongside each other but try one version on a fresh image (i.e. with no previous Adobe versions installed). Maybe you can test it out.
