FYI, Appears to be an incompatibility--the 16.9 updated Microsoft Office
Word 2016 willl not load the EndNote x8.1 Build 12930 add-in. The issue
has been reported to Clarivate Analytics.
Thank you for reporting this issue! This is the same problem many ran
into with the Cisco AnyConnect Mobility Client. It took many versions
and probably a lot of complaining to Cisco before they implemented a
change to their console to add the option...
