Account Executive | Education

Job Description

The Account Executive is a key member of the education sales team and works with an Inside Sales Specialist, and Systems Engineer, to expand sales within a geographic territory by selling the Whole Product Experience (WPE). The Account Executive will grow our sales to both new and existing customers in the K-12 and Higher Education verticals.

Location: Minneapolis, MN
Travel: 10-25%
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
Manager: Senior Manager, Inside Sales

Responsibilities

  • Consultatively sell the whole product experience (software, support and services) within the K-12 and Higher Education verticals
  • Lead a team within an assigned territory to generate new business and upsell current customers to meet quota targets
  • Develop meaningful relationships with key stakeholders at accounts, bridge the gap to executives, and increase Jamf mindshare, and elevate Jamf to a more strategic position within all accounts
  • Learn and understand the Apple platform adoption, growth strategies, and business plans for vertical accounts in the assigned territory
  • Build and execute sales campaigns while managing a diverse set of stakeholders, partners, and Apple team within the same accounts to generate new sales opportunities
  • Use prospecting tools such as Smart Procure, MDR, and LinkedIn to find contacts and new organizations in the geographic sales territory, and conduct regular outreach to prospects
  • Partner with internal resources including: Systems Engineers, Channel Account Managers, Apple Account Mangers, and Customer Success Specialists to grow your territory’s business
  • Accurately forecast business on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Collaborate and partner with an Inside Sales Specialist to maximize pipeline building efforts
  • Use Salesforce.com to document and manage sales activities
  • Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and purpose of the organization

Qualifications

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred); a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • 2 – 4 Years relevant enterprise sales experience (Required)
  • General Experience selling in both direct and indirect (channel) models (Required)
  • General Experience conducting new business acquisition campaigns (Required)
  • General Experience in software sales within high-growth technology companies (Preferred)
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to effectively interact with prospects and customers remotely as well as in person
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate well with other team members
  • Mac experience preferred
