Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description

Using statistical and algorithmic analysis and data mining, the Business Intelligence Analyst at Jamf is responsible for modeling business problems, calculating key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying business insights. In addition to advanced analytics skills, this role is key to integrating and preparing large, varied datasets, and communicating results.

  • Ideate, Create, Maintain, and organize a set of standard operational reporting services, metrics, leading and lagging indicators, and dashboards using excel,, and business insight tools used by the organization
  • Run various statistical analysis on the data collected from different sources to derive business insights and evaluate business risks.
  • Interact with sales reps, sales leadership, and others to provide understanding of the data outputs
  • Manage core reporting for tracking and forecasting sales quota attainment
  • Compile and submit weekly and monthly reporting packages
  • Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis
  • Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers to drive actionable measures (i.e., identify the ‘story within the story’

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor’s degree in Applied Statistics/Mathematics, Data or Computer Science (Required)
  • Graduate / Master's Degree (Preferred)
  • 5 -7 Years of professional experience statistical methods and analysis and predictive modeling (Required)
  • 3 - 5 Years of experience in data mining using databases in an environment with complex data sets (Preferred)
  • 2 – 4 Years of experience with one or more data mining/ modeling tools: R, Python, MySQL,, data visualization tools in a software organization (Required)
