Human Resources Business Partner

Job Description

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will connect with, advise, and coach leaders to help them grow teams that consistently deliver their best work. The HRBP is dedicated to aligning the business’ needs with our people strategy. The role partners with leaders, managers and employees on a variety of HR services and programs. This individual is a key member of the HR Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction and formulation of corporate-wide HR policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline support to leaders and employees, acting as a one-stop contact for all structures, -strategies and people in the assigned functional teams
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations to ensure we create a safe and fair environment for all employees
  • Consult with leaders to help them navigate through employee issues so they understand the risks and benefits of different scenarios to make the best decision possible for the organization
  • Work with leaders to scope and execute great people projects that grow engagement and accelerate performance (e.g., leader/employee development, compensation strategy design, organizational design, talent management etc.), partnering with internal functional HR experts along the way
  • Coach leaders and employees, supporting them on growth and development.
  • Analyze employee related data to drive the development of and measure success of the people strategy
  • Drive key talent processes with leaders including performance management, talent review, succession planning, leadership development and talent assessment
  • Actively lead HR departmental projects by establishing action plans, seeking out needed resources/experts, and executing against plans
  • Use knowledge of local (and international, where applicable) HR policies, programs, laws and issues to help keep Jamf compliant with employment regulations
  • Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and purpose of the organization

Qualifications

  • 5 – 7 Years human resources experience encompassing performance management, recruitment, employee relations and employment law within a global organization (preferably within the hi-tech industry) (Required)
  • 5 – 7 Years progressive experience as a generalist or human resources business partner. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention of top talent (Required)
  • 5 – 7 Years experience with complex employee relations, workplace investigations, and current in employment laws and requirements in order to ensure legal compliance (Preferred)
  • 2 – 4 Years proven experience leading cross departmental projects (Required)
  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communication or related field (Required)
  • Graduate / Master's Degree in Leadership, Management, or related field (Preferred)
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered
  • Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
