Manager, Global Business Development

Job Description

The Manager, Global Business Development is a key member of the sales management team, responsible to drive revenue through the development and leadership of the SMB business development team. This position is critical to generating new sales opportunities and partnerships that drive the rapid adoption of Jamf’s SMB solutions, with a particular focus on Jamf Now.

Location: Minneapolis, MN or Remote, US
Travel: 25-50%

  • Develop global business development strategy for industry specific solutions around Apple mobile devices
  • Build and scale the team, and direct the sales enablement process to grow monthly reoccurring revenue by achieving and exceeding partner and route objectives
  • Develop and implement plans for each team to align with growth objectives for Jamf Now
  • Build and manage compensation plans that align to corporate goals
  • Coach and counsel partners and sales managers on sales activities, leadership skills, capabilities, and processes
  • Measure weekly/monthly/quarterly progress against plans and objectives, and provide course correction for success
  • Hire and train new team members on overall department and business development strategy, team structure, and goals
  • Collaborate with sales managers and external partners to coordinate and grow revenue within each solution or route; providing guidance with sales opportunities as needed
  • Develop and execute strategies in conjunction with Product Management, Leadership, and Marketing teams to expand market penetration/broaden sales opportunities
  • Direct interaction with Apple mobility teams globally
  • Create or refine internal work flows and best practices to support continued growth of solution, route, and partner success
  • Performs all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values, mission and purpose of the organization

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
  • 3 – 5 Years sales experience showing successful achievement of quota (Required)
  • General experience in creating and executing a long-term sales strategy (Required)
  • General experience working in the Apple sales environment (Required)
  • 1 – 3 Years experience growing and leading sales organization within the software industry (Preferred)
  • General experience recruiting, developing, and inspiring business development teams (Preferred)
