Manager, HR - Operations

Job Description

The Manager, HR Operations is responsible for the development and implementation of global payroll, benefits and HRIS strategies that enable Jamf to motivate, attract, and retain employees. This individual serves a critical role in leading day-to-day activities, workflows, reporting, and tools in support of the talented team performing these core HR functions. This individual is a key member of the HR Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction and formulation of corporate-wide HR policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive value and operational excellence by building and maintaining streamlined and scalable HR systems solutions for a growing, global organization
  • Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership regarding core HRIS (Workday), as well as other HR systems and tools, supporting processes and reporting
  • Engage and lead a team of HR Operations (Payroll, HRIS, Benefits) professionals, providing coaching, motivation and collaboration to achieve shared goals and individual development
  • Serve as a point of escalation for payroll, benefits, and HR systems related issues globally
  • Plan, coordinate and manage the functions of the payroll department, assisting with the development of overall payroll procedures by recommending improvements or changes when deemed necessary for greater efficiency
  • Enhance HR's operational capabilities, identifying areas for improvement through technical solutions, optimizing business processes and analyzing and interpreting data to assist management with decision making, policy formulation and strategy designing and documenting processes
  • Provide oversight and structure to HR Operations projects with an objective to ensure repeatable project success through organizing projects, providing methods, processes and tools to plan, execute and monitor projects
  • Effectively manage ongoing relationships with third-party vendors to ensure they adhere to established processes, meet agreed upon service levels and promptly address any issues that may arise

Qualifications

  • 5 + years of functional experience with Workday – preferably with HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, and Talent
  • 5 + years managing global payroll programs
  • 3 + years of proven people leadership experience in HR (preferably in payroll, benefits, HRIS)
  • Experience supporting a global workforce in Europe and Asia
  • Proven success in creating clarity and consistency in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving, and express a deep interest and passion for all things related to HR Operations.
