Job Description

The Manager, Sales Development is a key member of the sales management team, responsible for pipeline generation through the development and leadership of the Sales Development team. This position is critical to growing sales pipeline for the sales organization.

  • Manage all outbound activities and scale prospecting/pipeline generation best practices across the assigned segment.
  • Accelerate opportunity pipeline generation for each segment as needed to exceed sales billings goals
  • Provide onboarding training for new team members
  • Lead long term career development for each team member
  • Emphasize core Jamf sales philosophies to align with those of the Account Executive teams
  • Meet regularly with segment sales managers/leaders to ensure consistency in day-to-day objectives and goals
  • Set consistent pipeline goals across each business segment and ensure goals are met
  • Brainstorm pipeline acquisition ideas and objectives
  • Host regular team meetings to emphasize ongoing training, peer-to-peer sharing and adjustments to overall strategies
  • Aid in developing and monitoring compensation plans and attainment
  • Communicate pipeline expectations and forecasts internally

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 2+ years of business development and pipeline creation experience required
  • 3-5 years of total sales experience is preferred
  • People leadership experience highly desired
  • Experience in recruiting, onboarding and developing team members is preferred
  • Proven track record of balancing multiple territory needs, differing vertical nuances or product lines
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent both written and verbal communication
  • Experience working in a startup environment preferred
