Product Manager

Job Description

As a member of the Product Management team at Jamf, your role will be critical in delivering a plan to ensure our customers can be successful with Jamf. You will engage with customers to understand market problems, personas, and use cases to drive initiatives into the product planning process. You will interact with key stakeholders inside and outside of the company with a primary focus on the strategic initiatives that will drive the business and technical aspects of Jamf product offerings.

This position requires an individual who has demonstrated understanding market problems, analyzing the problems worth solving, and bringing new products to market. This person should thrive in a demanding environment, have outstanding communication skills, and be a leader in influencing cross-functional teams to bring out the best in our great people. This position will work with the team of Jamf Product Managers to contribute product roadmap direction for Jamf Pro or other products as assigned.

  • Initiate market research and analysis of market size, opportunity and segments to define business cases in order to define market problems worth solving
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to validate market problems and product needs and uncover gaps and opportunities for the product
  • Develop roadmap initiatives for Jamf in coordination with the team of Product Managers to plan future work that aligns with Jamf’s strategies
  • Maintain close relationships with key customers to proactively manage the product roadmap, solicit feedback, and manage expectations
  • Empower Product Owners to execute initiatives by providing key vision, strategy, and market problems clearly for requirement building
  • Work with Product Owners to validate requirements to ensure customer needs and market problems are being met
  • Work with the Product Owners team to adjust priorities and plans effectively based on market or key stakeholder feedback
  • Deliver Sales and Support awareness training during development and release activities, in collaboration with Product Marketing, to ensure teams are prepared for product launches
  • Monitor Apple technology developments and industry innovation to guide product planning
  • Build and maintain knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self-education, attends ongoing educational programs) to grow, develop, and add value to the team

  • 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Preferred, a combination of relevant experience and education may be considered)
  • 2 – 4 Years Relevant product management experience in the software industry with a demonstrated track record of delivering new and profitable products (required)
  • 2 – 4 Years Experience in analyzing and taking action on data relevant to job function, preferably in understanding markets, financials, cost efficiency, or opportunities (required)
  • 2 – 4 Years Experience working with, leading, and motivating cross-functional and virtual teams (required)
  • 2 – 4 Years Experience in an Agile development environment (preferred)
  • 2 – 4 Years Experience with client management or customer engagement (required)
  • 2 – 4 Years Experience in taking on challenging problems and solving them
