Product Marketing Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a high-performing candidate to join our Marketing team as a Product Marketing Manager for Jamf Pro. This person must have experience at high-growth technology companies and will be responsible for defining the value proposition for Jamf Pro and other products, training sales and creating collateral and sales enablement tools. We are looking for someone who quickly grasps changing customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape, and is passionate about communicating product value to the marketplace.

In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be an expert in buyers, how they buy, their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge across multiple internal teams. Success in the role requires a deep understanding of Jamf products, the market, competition, Apple products, and collaboration with marketing, product management, engineering, sales and other customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Messaging – develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Jamf in the market in collaboration with other teams.
  • Enablement – communicate the value proposition of Jamf’s products across internal teams and develop tools that support the needs of those teams for prospects and customers, including sales training, sales pitch decks and outreach content.
  • Awareness and demand generation – collaborate with marketing to support campaigns and programs that build awareness and drive demand for Jamf’s products.
  • Assets – create product and industry-related marketing assets such as white papers, collateral, videos, presentations, blog/social topics, and more in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Analyst Relations – build and maintain relationships with key industry analyst firms/contacts, regularly briefing them and responding to analyst inquiries to strategically position Jamf Pro in relevant industry reports.
  • Intelligence – be the expert on the market, our market segments, the buyers – including personas, how they buy and their buying criteria – and our competition. Educate on how to position Jamf in the context of the competition.
  • Events – support and present at Jamf events, webinars and industry events to educate, build awareness and position Jamf.
  • Cross-functional collaboration – build strong relationships with product management, marketing, sales/account management team, customer support and other internal teams.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of product marketing experience at a B2B technology company
  • Knowledge of Apple ecosystem preferred
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to clearly articulate technical information in a straightforward and compelling manner that is easy to understand
  • Experience with public-speaking
  • Track record of success driving outcomes across organizations with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to understand target audiences and address their pain points/challenges
  • Strong multi-tasker and project manager
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with video editing tools (Camtasia, Screenflow, etc.)
  • Experience with Apple tools, including Keynote and Pages
