Blended Learning Philosophy: The RGS journey with 1:1 iPad

Today, young people are learning in many different ways. All children spontaneously use digital technology for a wide variety of educational purposes, communication and entertainment. Since September 2014, digital technology has become one of RGS Worcester’s channels of learning. Apple iPads are an important part of their blended learning philosophy in all three schools, helping them to drive academic excellence.

In this March session of the Jamf Breakfast Club, Craig Smith, Senior Education Sales Manager UK&I at Jamf, welcomes Matthew Warne, Head of Computing and Digital Learning at the Royal Grammar School Worcester and John Jones, Director of Innovation at the Royal Grammar School Worcester. They dive into the benefits of their Digital Learning Programme and share advice on how to:

  • Enhance deeper thinking skills

  • Increase motivation and engagement of pupils

  • Develop independent learning

  • Open the doors to do things that were previously not possible

  • Deliver transformational feedback
