What is the audience for Jamf Safe Internet?
Jamf Safe Internet is for organisations in K-12 and HiEd, but we can consider any 1:1 project as a primary and immediate target.
What will Jamf Safe Internet cost?
Jamf Safe Internet is priced at $5.00 per device per year. On 1 July it will also be included in the education pricing bundle. The bundle will be available in the US only with ONE SKU; however, partners (and customers) in EMEIA will be able to claim a discount managed by the sales team.
How can I buy Jamf Safe Internet?
Jamf Safe Internet follows the same workflow as Jamf Pro. You can reach out to your Jamf sales representative to get a quote, followed by sending your quote signed with a purchase order to process it.
I only sell Jamf School today, can I sell Jamf Safe Internet tomorrow?
Yes! To ensure you are allowed to sell Jamf Safe Internet or other Jamf products, you will need to sign an updated Master Reseller Agreement (MRA). Please ask your Jamf contact for any additional information.
What is the minimum of licences to buy?
25 licences is the minimum.
Is there any volume pricing available?
No, similar to the Jamf School pricing model, Jamf Safe Internet has the same easy pricing at $5 per seat. As a Jamf reseller, you will receive a discount based on your Jamf partner agreement.
What are the available license types?
There is one annual subscription of 12 months which customers can buy anytime. Jamf can prorate licences for alignment with other Jamf product licenses.
How is the license renewed?
The renewal process is similar to Jamf Pro.
How is customer support delivered?
Customers are entitled to receive support from Jamf partners.
Is Jamf Safe Internet compliant with GDPR?
Jamf Safe Internet is hosted in Europe (Ireland) and is compliant with GDPR. Jamf Safe Internet does not collect any user data.
Can I create a trial for a customer?
As a Jamf partner, you can ask your Jamf contact to create an evaluation for any of your customers. Like other Jamf products, the trial can last a couple of weeks and provides the customer access to all features.
Can I receive an NFR?
Yes, as an agreed Jamf partner you can receive a NFR. Please ask your Jamf contact.
Can I pay in euros?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay in EUR as the quoting system is set in USD.
What are the requirements for Jamf Safe Internet?
- Devices can be unsupervised or supervised iOS, iPadOS, or macOS
- Must be enrolled in a Jamf MDM, best with Jamf School
- Must be running macOS 11.0, iOS 14.0 and iPadOS 14.0 or above
Will Jamf Safe Internet be available for on-prem customers?
Jamf Safe Internet is for both on-prem and Cloud-hosted Jamf Pro customers as well as the Cloud-hosted Jamf School customers.
Is the Jamf Trust app an internet browser with pre-configured settings?
The Jamf Trust app is not an internet browser. Users can use Safari, Google Chrome or any preferred browser as usual.
Will there be an integration for other UEM Vendors like Mosyle, Addigy, Kandji, etc.?
Not at this time. Jamf Safe Internet is integrated with Jamf School and has integrations with Jamf Pro for the most optimal Jamf experience.
Will Jamf jump on customer calls about Jamf Safe Internet?
Jamf is committed to provide sales and technical content to all our partners. In case of questions, our partners can reach out directly to our sales team. Depending on urgency and team availability, Jamf can provide additional pre-sales support for specific customers projects.
