Device Assignment issue with some apps not installing

Generally we haven't had many issues with the device assignment program. However, after last weekend, or perhaps because we've had some rebooting issues with our JSS server, some apps appear to be not installing. This includes one in-house app, but otherwise all app store apps. Some of them even seem to have frozen halfway during installation - so that they actually show on the ipad but stuck in an installation phase that never completes.

We've rebooted our JSS. We've deleted the app and attempted to reinstall. I've even looked up the serial number and cleared pending app installs. This worked once but not since.

Any ideas on what we can do to clear up this issue?

Thanks!

Most likely the same issue from a few other posts regarding a flaw in iOS 9.2
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205654.

That appears to describe our issue. Thanks Gabe!

Yes you should see that all devices affected are running iOS 9.2.

Our JSS is hosted, and the online services team ran some kind of command that deleted stuck commands (I think they were ManagedApplicationList). It resolved communication, but it'll break again the next time an iPad tries to install a Managed app.

Thanks for the prompt response,

I cleared up the rest of the apps that were deployed in a manner that resulted in an incompatible platform error I think, (though doing so did shortly there-after cause the other server to overload the apache tomcat service).

I was giving a closer look at the return from the query and noticed a few weird device notification entries that I can't reach.

-1 is listed as one of the devices with a pending command, is that a backend alias?

Another device I can't seem to reach is listed as device 3, is it possible the device has been removed from JAMF but is still receiving commands?

Thanks again for all of your help on this.
