I have a situation where one particular notebook will not mirror on one particular Apple TV and I am at a loss as to how to resolve it. The person selects his Apple TV to mirror to, the notebook changes resolution and thinks it is mirroring to the Apple TV, but the TV display goes black.
Scenario: Previous coach supposedly had issues with that notebook and that Apple TV in his office. He left, and a new coach came on board. I erased the notebook and installed everything from scratch.
The new coach can mirror his notebook to other apple tvs, just not the one in his office. They are all on the same SSID. I can mirror my notebook to his Apple TV.
I used configurator to erase the Apple TV, and reinstall TV OS. Same issue exists. I logged out of his account on the notebook and logged in with my local account. Same exact problem.
Why would a notebook think it is mirroring, the Apple TV obviously is communicating with the notebook, but the video output from the Apple TV is black?
