I am aware this has nothing to do with Casper, but thinking that some of you might have the same setup, I tried asking...
Test environment:
- 10.7.4 client bound to AD/10.6.8 OD server ("magic triangle").
- Mobile user (local home)
- Several network volumes to be mounted at login with user's AD credentials (MCX - OD computer group level)
Unlike 10.6.8 clients, this Lion client tries to mount volumes even when it's offline (no network) and therefore it says the volumes are not available (error window).
If I unbind from 10.6.8 OD and bind the same client to a test Lion server OD for MCX with the same login items (volumes) they are correctly being ignored when offline.
Has anyone seen this before?
