Mobile Infrastructure Engineering involves defining, developing, maintaining, and advising on the effective use of mobile devices within the Publix Information technology architecture.
Software and hardware architecture design, installation, configuration, integration, and support
- Enterprise system management
- Problem determination and resolution

- Technical leadership with other engineers in specific disciplines

Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or other analytical discipline, or equivalent experience,
experience supporting macOS, iOS, and/or Android operating systems and hardware platforms in a large corporate environment,
experience managing and securing, and configuring macOS, iOS, or Android devices with a Mobile Device Management solution
development experience with AppleScripts, BASH scripts, or other Windows scripting engines experience with multiple hardware vendor platforms
2-5 years of experience designing, planning, implementing, and supporting large releases,
experience securing diverse technologies, platforms, and applications,
in-depth experience implementing, migrating, managing, and administering the macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems in a large corporate environment,
experience supporting desktop productivity software (Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Safari, font management tools, etc.),
in-depth knowledge of Apple products (MacBook, iMac, iPad, iPhone, etc.),
in-depth knowledge of Android-based products (Honeywell, Zebra, Samsung)
experience with automating application installation and configuration with Jamf Pro,
experience designing, documenting, managing, and deploying macOS, iOS, and Android images and updates,
experience designing and managing group policy for macOS, iOS, and Android operating systems,
ability to anticipate and identify issues that conflict with security and compliance requirements,
ability to resolve complex business and technical issues by making decisions using sound business judgment,
in-depth understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies,
experience in forecasting, planning, and managing hardware and software budgets,
experience leading projects from requirements through implementation,
experience working in a process structured environment which includes Change Management, Incident/ Problem Management and Disaster Recovery Preparedness, solid understanding of the functional and operational practices necessary to operate in a highly available, highly secure, and highly regulated environment to meet business and compliance requirements
