A new opportunity is now available for a EUC Specialist (Architect) with the Digital Technology Services team in Centrica Home Solutions in London.

The role is mainly focused on services (back end), infrastructure and services infrastructure architecture. You will work with the DTS team in Centrica Home Solutions improving the services and infrastructure.
As an EUC Specialist (Architect) you will provide consistent professional technical support to all Centrica Home Solutions. This role provides technical expertise to maintain, install, upgrade, modify, integrate, customize and administer the infrastructure and cloud services in use at Centrica Home Solutions; supporting the infrastructure and services in use at Centrica Home Solutions.
You will be part of the team managing a large macOS estate, using JAMF, bash/python scripts, config profiles etc. You will help manage our ever-growing cloud service catalog, moving services to SSO where appropriate, help define security policies and managing users/permissions. You will support deployment, configuration and security of the macOS estate, using JAMF.
Continuous improvement of service and innovations to improve overall delivery of services provided by the Internal Systems Support team would be also part of your responsibilities; as well as the following: complying with all Centrica Home Solutions security policies and procedures (and promote to other staff members), maintaining inventory of company equipment and tracking Centrica Home Solutions assets, suggesting cost savings or efficiency improvements for delivery of services by the Internal Systems Support team; and providing analysis of new software/hardware/desktop solutions.
This role involves travel to other Centrica offices when required and you will also be expected to provide out of hours support to the rest of the Internal Systems Support team by arrangement.
You have the following background and experience:
•Active Directory (Add/Remove & Edit Users)
•Admin and maintenance of Cloud SaaS services, SAML Single-Sign-On, Okta.
•Jamf - creating, updating packages, scripts, config profiles and deployment workflows.
•Good knowledge of Identity & Access Management, Active Directory, Single-Sign-On (SSO), SAML (Okta, O365 etc.)
•Supporting and configuring Windows Server 2012/2016
•Troubleshooting software and hardware issues, on Apple MacOS, iOS and Windows devices.
•CCNA or equivalent experience
•Good networking knowledge (Cisco ideally). Experience managing VMWare Esxi 6.x
•Qualified to CCA/Jamf Certified Administrator (Jamf 300) level on Jamf Pro
•Proficient in at least one scripting language, ideally bash or python.
•Hands on recent experience with APIs and scripting against them. •Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) - at least to 10.9 but ideally later versions •Azure and AWS hands on experience.
•Experience managing AWS VPC, Storage Gateway, S3 & EC2. •Knowledge of Jira or Service Now ticketing systems
