NetSUS net boot giving no entry stop sign at boot

hi

trying to deploy Netsus for our old devices because they are not in the DEP... until we roll out those computers (2-3 years) we keep using netboot with imaging...

the netboot we made works on few computers, but looks like not on more recent iMac. it gives us a no entry stop sign at boot.

here is the process made...

built with autoDMG the DMG image
built with AutoCasperNBI the NBI
copied the NBI to NetSUS
we see it at boot... select it... and then the no entry stop sign.

again, the netboot works on some few more old computers...

Are you trying to image Macs with T2 chips? They won't by default allow booting to external sources.

While you could boot to the Recovery HD and allow booting to external sources, this lowers their security. Consider instead using the method I describe here for using the macOS installer's startosinstall command line tool. While it won't be as quick as imaging from a disk image, Apple is driving this method as its preferred method for installing the macOS over imaging.
