India’s Apple IT landscape is evolving rapidly — and the momentum is unmistakable.
Strengthening the Apple Admin Community in India
Over the past few years, organisations across industries have increasingly embraced Apple devices for their security, ease of use, and seamless integration into modern work environments. At the heart of this transformation is a growing network of Apple IT professionals and administrators who are driving change within their organisations.
In July, Mischa van der Bent and Eric Metzger from the Global Solution Engineering team of Jamf visited India to connect directly with this dynamic community. Their trip was more than a series of meetings—it was an opportunity to listen, learn, and strengthen Jamf’s commitment to empowering Apple IT in the region.
In this episode, we brew some unfiltered conversations with them, along with Kavan Joshi, Sales Engineering, Jamf India, over a few cups of filter coffee in Bangalore, and talk about our ongoing engagements towards our user groups.
Connecting with India’s Apple IT Leaders
Eric and Mischa’s visit included in-depth sessions with enterprise customers, partner organisations, and members of the Apple Admin User Group India. The conversations reflected a shared passion for enabling secure, scalable Apple deployments, while preserving the intuitive Apple user experience employees love.
Across cities, the excitement around Jamf solutions was palpable. Customers shared how Jamf’s tools have streamlined device management, enhanced security postures, and helped IT teams respond faster to user needs. The discussions also brought valuable insights into India-specific deployment challenges and opportunities—insights that Jamf will carry forward into future product innovation and local engagement strategies.
Growing Interest, Growing Community :
The Apple Admin User Group India is quickly becoming a hub for knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer learning. During this visit, members expressed strong interest in deeper Jamf involvement—whether through technical workshops, community events, or regional initiatives. It’s clear that as more organisations in India adopt Apple devices at scale, the need for a supportive, collaborative IT community has never been greater.
Over chai breaks and filter coffee in Bangalore, roundtable discussions, and customer sessions, Eric and Mischa sat down with IT leaders, partners, and members of the Apple Admin User Group India. The conversations weren’t scripted; they were about real challenges—from securing devices in fast-growing organisations, to managing hybrid setups, to keeping the Apple experience seamless for employees who expect nothing less.
And what stood out?
The passion.
The energy.
The sense that Apple IT in India is no longer a niche—it’s becoming a movement.
A Community on the Rise :
The Apple Admin User Group India has been quietly but steadily building a network of professionals who share knowledge, swap stories, and help each other find solutions faster. During this visit, the group’s growing interest in Jamf was clear—members wanted to dive deeper into how our tools can make their Apple environments more secure, more manageable, and more delightful to use.
From technical workshops to future community events, the appetite for collaboration is strong. As more organisations across India embrace Apple at scale, the need for a connected, resourceful IT community is only going to grow.
Why It Matters
At Jamf, we believe technology works best when it serves people, not the other way around. That’s why trips like this matter—they’re not just about showcasing what Jamf can do, but about listening to what our customers and community need next.
Eric and Mischa’s visit was a reminder that our mission—helping organisations succeed with Apple—isn’t just a tagline. It’s a shared journey we’re taking with IT teams around the world, and right now, India is one of the most exciting chapters.
Here’s to more conversations, more connections, and a thriving Apple Admin community in India.
Looking Ahead
At Jamf, our mission is simple: help organisations succeed with Apple. Eric and Mischa’s visit to India reinforced just how important local relationships are in achieving that mission. We’re excited to continue building connections, supporting our customers, and contributing to the growth of the Apple Admin community in India.
To everyone who welcomed our team, shared their experiences, and inspired new ideas—thank you. We look forward to many more conversations, collaborations, and community moments ahead.
