The Jamf Nation User Conference (JNUC) brings Apple admins from around the world together. This year, JNUC is in Denver, Colorado on October 7-9. Attendees can expect:

  • Hands on learning
  • Announcements about Jamf and our products
  • Technical sessions and time with product experts
  • Social events and networking

This episode of Jamf After Dark features Jeff Ovik and Kelsey Dahl, both heavily involved in making JNUC a great experience for all. They answer our burning questions about JNUC, so make sure you give the episode a listen. We'll highlight a few here.

Why should you go to JNUC?

JNUC is an investment of your time and your learning. IT admins, school technologists and security professionals can all get something out of JNUC. This could be learning something new at sessions, getting an early look at product updates or meeting industry leaders.

One of the greatest things you can do at JNUC is connect with different users, engineers and peers.

— Jeff Ovik, Senior Event Specialist, Jamf

One thing that makes JNUC unique is its networking opportunities. Admins get the opportunity to help each other out in hallway conversations, collaborating and resolving issues that challenged them.

You don't need to be a Jamf customer to benefit! If you work with the Apple ecosystem, you'll get something great out of JNUC.

What is the Level Up program? Braindates?

Back by popular demand, the Level Up program and Braindates can enhance your JNUC experience.

  • Level Up program: Attendees can come the day before JNUC, October 6, for a full-day workshop to improve their scripting skills. This interactive training covers topics like the Jamf API, IF statements and loops, extension attributes, and more.
  • Braindates: Braindates are one-on-one or small group sessions suited for knowledge exchange. Attend or start as many as you like to share industry tips, discuss your session or explore other ideas.

What can I expect from the sessions?

Sessions vary in subject and technical level, with most being around the 200-level mark. Some topic highlights are:

  • Jamf's continued support of declarative device management
  • Announcements around blueprints, compliance benchmarks, the AI Assistant and the API ecosystem
  • Numerous breakout sessions — focus tracks help attendees narrow their sessions based on their interests

There will also be commercial and education state-of-the-union talks. To get the most out of your breakout sessions, stay for the live Q&A, attend a speaker's Braindate or use the mobile app.

There's so much more!
