Jamf Nation User Conference (JNUC) Code of Conduct and Release

Jamf strives to create a respectful, engaging environment at JNUC where everyone feels comfortable learning and networking with others in the Apple IT community. We know you want that too. That’s why we expect all JNUC participants – including attendees, speakers, volunteers, sponsors, and other guests – to help us in this effort by following this Code of Conduct (“Code.”) This Code applies to your actions while engaged in JNUC events, either in person or online, and to social media posts about JNUC. Your registration for and/or attendance at JNUC indicates your agreement to follow this Code.
Quick take
We expect all attendees, sponsors, speakers, and volunteers participating in JNUC to act in a respectful and responsible way. Be kind. Use good judgement. Remember that attendees come from diverse backgrounds, and we will not tolerate harassment or discrimination in any form. JNUC participants who violate this Code may be expelled from the conference and barred from future Jamf events.

Foster collaboration and inclusivity
For years, Apple IT administrators have gathered to share ideas that make their lives easier, learn from each other, and have fun. Let’s continue that tradition by making attendees feel welcome at JNUC. You can do this by engaging in respectful chats, providing constructive feedback, and avoiding aggressively pushing your own causes, products, or services.
Harassment is prohibited
We expect JNUC to be a positive, inclusive conference where people are treated with decency and respect, free from discrimination and harassment.
Harassment and discrimination in any form will not be tolerated at JNUC in any form, including online or in person. Harassment is any unwelcome conduct that refers negatively toward an individual because of their gender, gender identity or expression, family status, age, disability, race, color, religion, pregnancy, national origin, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by law. This includes offensive comments, threats, unwelcome sexual advances or contact of a sexual nature, demands, intimidation, public display of sexualized images, stalking, harassing photography, or recording and prolonged and intentional disruptions of speakers/events, either verbally or online.
Respect confidentiality
JNUC includes product demos, workflows, and implementations from both Jamf experts and those of our clients and partners, who attend our virtual event to share best practices. It may also include previews of upcoming functionality and features. We may discuss ideas or projects that are not in market yet. Please do not share any ideas that the speaker has identified as confidential. Respect confidentiality requests by both speakers and other attendees and, when in doubt, err on the side of confidentiality.
Photography, audio and video recording release
By participating in person at JNUC, you understand that you may be photographed or recorded by Jamf or other third parties while attending various sessions and events. You agree that Jamf may take photographs and/or motion pictures of you (the “Media”). You acknowledge that Jamf is the sole owner of such Media and that Jamf has the right to use the Media publicly for any lawful purpose, including promotional, marketing, or educational purposes, in any medium and format, including on the Internet and on social media platforms (the “Purpose").
Recording disclaimer for virtual attendees
If applicable, by participating virtually, you agree and consent to allow Jamf, and those authorized by Jamf, to record your avatar, likeness, voice, and/or username (“Recording”) and to own, license, assign, and use the same (or any portion) for the Purpose.
Jamf will not pay you for use of the Media and the Recording and you waive any right to royalties or other compensation related to Jamf’s use of the Media and the Recording. You hereby release Jamf and those acting on Jamf’s behalf from any claims that may arise from Jamf’s use of the Media and Recording for the Purpose including claims relating or arising out of privacy, intellectual property right infringement, or right of publicity.
Video and audio recording of JNUC content is strictly prohibited unless you have obtained express written consent from JNUC in writing.
Liability release
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you hereby release Jamf and those acting on Jamf’s authority from any claims including personal injury, death, and/or property theft, arising from or relating to your participation in JNUC including any liability arising from Jamf’s negligence.
Reporting an incident
If you observe behavior that you think violates this Code, whether aimed at someone else or directed at you, please report it. Please email or, if you’d prefer to report the incident anonymously, you can fill out a secure web form or call 833-976-2075. All voicemail messages will be electronically altered to ensure confidentiality. If you experience or witness a life safety emergency, please contact your local authorities, immediately.
Jamf is committed to promptly investigating all reported incidents with discretion. Jamf may take any action that it deems appropriate depending on the circumstances, ranging from issuing a warning to the offending attendee to temporarily banning the offender from participating at JNUC. Jamf reserves the right to remove individuals who are found to have violated this Code from JNUC events and prohibit them from attending future Jamf events.
