Get started with Jamf Pro - now available in French, German, Spanish, Japanese, and traditional Chinese

At Jamf, we’re committed to creating learning experiences that meet you where you are. Today, we’re excited to share the Get Started with Jamf Pro series in the Jamf Online Training Catalog is now available in French, German, Spanish, Japanese and traditional Chinese. This localization effort follows a complete refresh to our core Jamf Pro content for new and returning users. With 16 modules including videos, written key points, checking for understanding, simulations, and resources to continue learning, we hope to provide an accessible and solid Jamf Pro foundation for users across the globe.

What is Get Started with Jamf Pro?

The Get Started with Jamf Pro series contains everything you need to know to succeed with Jamf Pro. If you’re new to the product, start at the beginning where we cover the basics, like an introduction to mobile device management, and help you establish your Jamf Pro environment.

If you’re an experienced admin looking to jump into deploying apps, configuring Self Service, or creating policies, feel free to explore and discover content tailored to your goals. Our courses are designed to fit your unique learning needs and don’t need to be taken in any specific order for a rich, rewarding experience.

What’s in Get Started with Jamf Pro?

Get started over in the Jamf Online Training Catalog where you can access the series, learn how to navigate the interface, what’s included in the course and next steps. Here, you can switch to your preferred language before diving into the course. In the series, you’ll find:

• A Welcome video: Become familiar with the series, explore its contents and navigate the Jamf Online Training Catalog.
• Infrastructure Essentials: Learn about Jamf Pro, mobile device management, organize users and groups, and enroll your first device.
• Inventory Management Essentials: Organize devices, run reports on enrolled devices, and send commands with Jamf Pro.
• Deployment Essentials: Scope management tasks, create configuration profiles, manage apps, and deploy policies.
• Jamf Self Service Essentials: Configure and customize Jamf Self Service. Make apps, management tasks, and policies available to users to install at their convenience.

Exploring the Training Catalog

Before you start, make sure to create a Jamf ID and log in. This will grant you access to the entire content catalog for free — regardless of whether you’re a Jamf customer or not. It also allows you to track your progress within the catalog so you can focus on leveling up your skill set.

By default, the language may be set to your browser’s region. Select your preferred language from the menu in the top right of the screen, next to the search bar.

One configured, select the Jamf Pro tile on the home page to find content available in your preferred language.

Select Get Started with Jamf Pro, and you’re in! Select a series, register for the course and enjoy your time in the Jamf Online Training Catalog.
