Greater workflow automation and efficiency with Jamf, atSpoke integration

Tanya Butani from atSpoke joined us to share how automation and improved efficiency is made possible with Jamf.

Fast-moving IT teams solve issues all day, often toggling between several tools. But when relevant data is not easily accessible and scattered across disparate systems, teams must manually and tediously connect this information. atSpoke addresses this disconnect with the addition of Jamf to our Integrations Command Center.

Jamf is the industry standard for Apple device management. atSpoke's Jamf integration enables you to automate Jamf workflows, sync employee assets and view device information for full context right within a helpdesk request. When IT teams connect atSpoke and Jamf, they can easily handle all elements of the support process within atSpoke.

"atSpoke’s integration with Jamf provides our team with a compact view from which we can quickly manage Jamf workflows like locking and updating devices directly within atSpoke. With one simple click we can complete any Jamf action with faster oversight for flexibility, relevance, and security."
Brian Kramer, Information Technology, Liveramp

Connecting atSpoke and Jamf means:

  • Getting work done where you are: trigger actions in Jamf from Slack and atSpoke tickets. Agents can schedule OS updates, lock and erase devices, send blank pushes and manage groups.
  • Having a connected internal operations ecosystem: agents are connected directly with Jamf, end user data and the people they need to resolve tickets faster and more efficiently.
  • Automating and streamlining workflows: reduce the time and effort required for each ticket with AI that automates the steps required in Jamf for faster resolution.
  • Automating tracking and visibility: all actions taken on a request in Slack and the ticket are automatically and synchronously tracked within atSpoke for accountability and visibility.

How atSpoke and Jamf mobile device management (MDM) integration works

Setting up Jamf in atSpoke is simple. Once enabled, you can trigger actions from the bolt icon in the top right of a request. atSpoke supports more than ten Jamf workflows that can be completed right within the atSpoke request. When an action is completed, an update is added to the request panel.

High-frequency, low-effort tasks like pivoting between tools or repeatedly looking up information are a drain on productivity. The availability of this data within atSpoke saves you time but, more importantly, provides you with the personalized data needed to support your employees across the IT suite.
