Jamf and Cisco deliver better enterprise tools

See how Jamf integrates with Cisco Security Connector, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Cisco Fast Lane to deliver a modern, protected device experience.

Apple’s enterprise expansion and subsequent partnerships with IBM, SAP, Accenture and Cisco have made it easier than ever to offer the device experience Apple users expect, while maintaining the security measures organizations need.

Cisco in particular has been at the forefront of helping organizations keep their endpoints secure, and Jamf is proud to offer streamlined integrations with several Cisco services to deliver a modern, protected device experience.

Cisco Security Connector

Jamf Pro — the leading Apple device management solution — now integrates with Cisco Security Connector. When apps get installed on supervised iOS devices running iOS 11 or later, network admins gain insight into traffic on the device. This level of network visibility has never been available on an iOS device before.

Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

Cisco ISE is a network administration tool that enables the creation and enforcement of security access policies, simplifying identity management across devices. The Jamf Pro and ISE integration allows IT teams to make device registration and compliance information available in ISE policies, empowering network admins to use mobile device management (MDM) functions like wiping devices.

Cisco Fast Lane

macOS High Sierra introduced Cisco Fast Lane for macOS. Cisco Fast Lane enables organizations to optimize network traffic for business-critical apps. Organizations using Cisco networks can define what iOS and Mac apps get priority on the network. Pro tip: Inventory your most critical Mac apps and confirm that your device management provider supports the new Cisco Fast Lane QOS features for macOS. If they don’t, contact us to hear how the Jamf and Cisco Fast Lane integration can help your organization.
