Vote for the sessions you want at SXSWedu 2016

Now through September 4th, you have the opportunity to vote “Yes” or “No” on all session ideas at SXSWedu 2016, taking place March 7-10 in Austin, TX.

The SXSWedu Conference & Festival plays host to a diverse and energetic community of educators, and provides access to engaging sessions, interactive workshops, and hands-on learning experiences. To add to the excitement surrounding the March 7-10 event in Austin, TX, SXSWedu is opening up the session schedule to the public and allowing them to vote for which sessions they would like to see.

Now through September 4th, you have the opportunity to vote “Yes” or “No” on all session ideas. One such session that is creating voting buzz is Beyond the Classroom: Reality of Digital Tech. This panel session features prominent members of the Rowan-Salisbury School System as they discuss how they successfully implemented their 1:1 iPad program, as well as different factors to consider when implementing new technology in the classroom.

Adding to the discussion will be our own education evangelist, Dave Saltmarsh. “Our session will help establish that new technology can be deployed with less effort and complexity than expected by IT departments,” said Saltmarsh. “We’ll also examine the benefits of putting the latest technologies in the hands of students and teachers, and the best ways to go about it to improve teacher effectiveness and student learning.”

To vote for this session, simply create a PanelPicker account on SXSWedu page and let your voice be heard.
