Managing your business’ technology can be time consuming if you are trying to manage everything that comes with your role and you aren’t using the right tools. IT work can quickly make its way down the priority list. This can become even more frustrating if the tasks you need to complete are difficult, lengthy, or you need to spend time researching how to accomplish your goal. Jamf Now maintains a simple experience with an easy workflow to create configuration profiles within Blueprints and is proud to release our newest feature. Custom Profiles provide the flexibility to create unique configurations for macOS and iOS in addition to the current configuration options in Jamf Now.

Your organization is unique, and you have specific needs when it comes to managing your devices. As a Jamf Now admin, you may want to deploy a configuration profile that goes beyond what is currently offered in the Jamf Now Blueprint UI such as adding a VPN configuration. Custom Profiles gives you the benefit of unlimited configurations without sacrificing the simplicity of Jamf Now Blueprints. The admin creates a custom payload using Apple Configurator, Profile Manager or other tools, then uploads to Jamf Now for deployment. Utilizing this feature allows you some of the same level of functionality you would get with larger, enterprise-level mobile device management platforms but with Jamf Now’s simplicity and ease of use.

Note: This feature is available with the Jamf Now Plus plan. To upgrade your plan, simply navigate to your Account page and select Plus for your plan.
