More reasons to love Apple

Apple makes it easier for customers to acquire apps in volume by offering Numbers, Keynote, Pages, iMovie and GarageBand for free to all macOS and iOS users.

Yesterday Apple made it easier for customers to acquire apps in volume by offering Numbers, Keynote, Pages, iMovie and GarageBand for free to all macOS and iOS users.

In the past, these apps were only available for free to customers who purchased a new Mac, iPad or iPhone device, but new hardware is no longer required to take advantage of these apps at no cost. This means organizations no longer need to go through a complicated request with Apple just to get these apps. Instead, organizations can easily license these apps for all their devices through the Volume Purchase Program (VPP) and deploy with Jamf.

Apple makes the lives of IT admins easier with this change. The days of worrying about only deploying these apps to eligible machines are over!
