Okta’s 2020 Business @ Work report recognizes Jamf Pro as the most popular device security tool and one of the fastest growing solutions in the enterprise. Learn more.

The results are in for Okta’s 2020 Business @ Work study. Okta’s report takes an in-depth look at how organizations and people work, and which tools and apps help them most succeed.

The 2020 report is based on data from Okta’s 7,400+ customers and the Okta Integration Network, and Jamf is proud to have cemented its place in multiple categories — including the most popular device security tool.

No stranger to Okta’s Business @ Work reports

2018: Jamf ranks as the fastest growing app, seeing 398% year-over-year growth within Okta’s customer network.
2019: Jamf ranks as fourth fastest growing app, with 120% year-over-year growth.
2020: Jamf ranks as seventh fastest growing app, with a respectable 82% year-over-year growth.

As the standard for Apple in the enterprise, Jamf’s consistent ranking on Okta’s list should come as no surprise. With Apple’s continued growth in enterprise market share and Jamf’s ability to help organizations best implement and accommodate the growing demand for Apple devices at work, Jamf is poised to hold a prominent ranking on future enterprise reports.

Enterprise shift to security-focused tools

A few years ago, the #1 fastest growing apps — Slack and Zoom — focused on collaboration. Winners from the past two years were security-focused — Jamf Pro and KnowBe4.

The evolution of fastest growing tools directly aligns with the need for better enterprise security resources. Data breaches come at a tremendous cost in not only dollars, but customer trust as well. To avoid, organizations are looking to modernize their security stacks and provide protection at every security layer. According to Okta’s customers, if organizations want to leverage the top tools, their security stack would look like this:

  • People Security: KnowBe4
  • Device Security: Jamf Pro
  • Nework Security: Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access
  • Infrastructure Security: New Relic

Jamf’s commitment to providing best-in-class, enterprise-level security will never falter. Case in point, Jamf recently launched Jamf Protect, an endpoint protection solution purpose-built for Mac.

Jamf Protect enhances an organizations security posture with:

  • The ability to audit against CIS benchmarks
  • Unprecedented visibility into native macOS security tools
  • On-device activity analysis and real-time alerts to proactively block, isolate or remediate threats
  • Day one-support for Apple’s newest and most secure macOS experience
