What is modern device management?

See why the Jamf and Microsoft integration is redefining how modern organizations manage and secure their PC and Mac devices.

In today’s business world, two ecosystems reign supreme: Apple and Microsoft. While most modern organizations understand the need to support both platforms, many are not sure how to efficiently and securely do so.

To help these organizations, Jamf and Microsoft have created a first-of-its-kind integration that allows purpose-built tools to co-manage other major enterprise platforms.

New phase of modern device management

Microsoft entered a strategic partnership with Jamf to extend the ability for Intune — Microsoft’s best-of-breed management solution for Windows — to manage and secure the increasing number of Mac devices entering the workforce due to employee-choice programs.

IT administrators can now leverage proxy-free conditional access, ensuring only trusted users on trusted Mac devices using trusted apps access Office 365 and other corporate data via Azure Active Directory. If a device falls out of compliance, a remediation path is made available to get the device and/or user back in compliance.

Brad Anderson, Corporate Vice President of the Enterprise Client & Mobility team at Microsoft, took center stage at the 2017 Jamf Nation User Conference to explain the importance of the Jamf and Microsoft collaboration.

With an SCCM plug-in for traditional Windows environments, and a streamlined Intune integration for modern organizations, Jamf provides a path to seamlessly work with your existing tools and efficiently manage your Apple devices right alongside Windows.
